January 31 Shaganappi grooming update: Nearly all the trails were groomed and track set this evening by a SNO volunteer director (ran out of time!) Loving the Defender and Ginzugroomer! Skate ski superhighways are in great shape, although it’s +11 at 1am Feb 1st, aaargh! Due to the 2 week Chinook, there are some thin and bare sections of trail however we have workarounds for most bare sections, and have closed off trails which run on asphalt through trees. The lower intermediate loop north of the driving range had one grooming pass done. The middle section of the golf course is in great shape with good coverage on the trails…fingers crossed for both cold temperatures and snow!
